Take Me Home - An NYPD Brian Mulkeen tribute
Midnight Platoon and Peacemakers Union have launched a tribute design to passionately capture the warrior spirit of NYPD Officer Brian Mulkeen. Brian made his ultimate sacrifice on September 29, 2019 when he was attempting to take an armed and violent criminal off the street in Bronx, NY. He was part of the Bronx Borough Anti-Crime Unit who works in plain clothes and has a history of seizing numerous illegally possessed firearms and drugs. In fact, Brian arrested someone with a gun approx. 24 hours before his sacrifice.
Brian already had a career in finance but left for a higher calling. It was in his DNA to not only be in law enforcement but to proactively enforce the laws and apprehend New York's most violent predators.
In honor of NYPD Detective 1st Grade Brian Mulkeen (promoted on 10/4) we designed a tribute shirt and hooded sweashirt that we feel capture his valor and spirit. "Take Me Home" was used on the banners after watching a video of Brian singing ˇ'Take Me Home, Country Roads' by John Denver just about an hour before he was taken home. 50% of proceeds will be directly donated to the family.
